1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18)
(a) Beyond the fences or lines of white stakes to the right of the 1st, 2nd, 14th, 15th and 18th holes.
(b) Beyond the line of white stakes betweenthe practice putting green and the car park
(c) On or beyond the footpaths and paved trolley stand in front of the clubhouse
2. MOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 15)
The chain links around the 1st tee are movable obstructions. The posts are immovable obstructions. Relief from the latter as per Rule 16.1b
3. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 16)
The racecourse railings, hurdles and fences, the safety rail behind the 17th green and all roads and paths not subject to local rule 1b, shelters and other fixed objects are immovable obstructions. Reflief from interference by these obstructions/areas may be taken without penalty in accordance with Rule 16.1b. There is no relief for intervention on line of play.
The All Weather Track (AWT) is an immovable obstruction and also a no-play zone from which relief MUST be taken under Rule 16.1b (See Rule 16.1f(1)). The rails and containment boards on or adjacent to the AWT are part of the same area.
If the ball lies on the AWT in front of the tee at holes 3, 13, 14 and 18, as an additional option under penalty of one stroke, the ball may be dropped at the nearest point where it is clear of the AWT railings on the side that is nearer the putting green of that hole.
Race Course Railings: If it is known that a ball has struck a race course railing during play, the stroke is cancelled and the player must play a ball as nearly as possible at the spot from which the original ball was played in accordance with Rule 14.6.
4. GROUND UNDER REPAIR (Rule 16)
Hoof marks, tractor tyre marks and ground damage caused by course machinery are ground under repair. However relief is denied for interference to stance in such a situation.
5. PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES
Young trees requiring protection are identified by wooden stakes. A player must take relief without penalty in accordance with Rule 16.1b
6. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS CLOSE TO PUTTING GREEN (including Fixed Sprinkler Heads)
Relief from interference by an immovable obstruction may be obtained under Rule 16.1b. In addition, if a ball lies in the general area and an immovable obstruction within two club-lengths of the putting green and within two club lengths of the ball intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may take relief without penalty as follows: The ball must be lifted and dropped within one club length to where the ball lay that (a) is not nearer the hole, (b) avoids intervention and (c) is is in the general area. The ball may be cleaned when lifted

Match Play – Loss of hole. Stroke Play – Two stokes
The general principle is that members, guests, and visitors conform to our standards both on and off the course, so that everyone can enjoy the experience of being at the ‘The Park’.
Members, guests, and visitors are expected to maintain our standard of dress and wear smart, appropriate attire whether golfing on the course, using the range and practice facilities, or in the Clubhouse.

Not acceptable; golf shoes, hats/caps, flip flops, sandals without socks, tracksuit tops/bottoms, blue denim jeans or blue denim clothing, cargo style shorts/trousers, replica sports shirts or shirts designed for other sports.
Overcoats and outdoor wear must be hung on the pegs provided in the locker room corridor
Mobile Phones
The Club is a place of relaxation and leisure and therefore we ask that mobile phones are silent in the Clubhouse and on the Course.
Mobile phones can be used for making or receiving calls in the locker rooms or car park.
When using your mobile phone, please be considerate of others.
