Elite Golf Academies have three academies in Portugal and Northumberland GC is the main hub of the Academies and where the Academy Director and founder Steven Bainbridge is based.

Steven spent years travelling the world on the European Tour working with players before setting up Elite Golf Academies. Elite Golf Academies use the latest technology and ensure all the coaches are trained and qualified to coach with it; using several Trackman 4 units, Boditrak, and many more pieces of technology to support the coaching.

Northumberland Golf Club has one of the best practice facilities in the area.

This includes an extensive practice area with ball dispenser, play is available from the latest high spec artificial turf as well as grass. It is also permissible to use your own practice balls in secluded parts of the facility.
