Dining Room
NGC is one of the few clubs offering white table dining with up to three courses as follows
Weekday Lunch
Every day except Monday 12.00pm to 2.00pm, booking not required.
Sunday lunch
12.00pm to 2.00pm. Booking is essential.
Unless golf events dictate, the first Sunday each month will be a Carvery and the last Sunday in the month will be a Family Lunch.
Dinner
Wednesday and Saturday 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Booking is essential.
Occasionally Members book the Clubhouse for a private function - in this case the Dining Room is closed but one of the other rooms may be available and should be discussed with the Secretary.
Wine List
Our wines are provided by Richard Grainger Wine Merchants. The list is extensive and reasonably priced.
Dress Code
Our normal Dress Code operates which requires formal wear in the Dining Room.
Main Lounge
Soup and sandwiches are available every day from:
Monday 9.00am to 3.00pm
Tuesday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm
Saturday and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm
Last Orders half an hour before these closing times.
Golfers' suppers
To meet the needs of those who play golf in the early evening during the season, Golfers Suppers can be ordered before they play. They are available on Tuesday to Friday until 9:00pm May to September. Orders can be placed before play using the list in the Main Lounge. The meals are served in the Mixed Lounge (or Dining Room if free) and smart casual dress applies.
Breakfast rolls
The kitchen is open for breakfast rolls from 9.00am every weekday and 10.00am on Saturdays and Sundays.
Functions
We have built an excellent reputation for hosting private and business functions such as birthdays, anniversary parties, receptions and dinners. Menus are created to suit the occasion and Fiona would be delighted to help you with your requirements.
Such occasions can take place in any of our main rooms, including the Main Lounge.
