A long iron short of the fairway bunker will leave you a medium iron to this undulating green. Try to keep your 2nd shot below the flag.
The newest hole on the course with a risk and reward element off the tee.
You either lay up short of the bunker on the left or try and drive through the narrow gap leaving just a wedge to a fiercely sloping green , but don’t go through as it’s thick. This green is to U.S.G.A specification so can sometimes be a little quicker than the others.
Make sure that you are short of the bunker at the end. You don’t need a driver, even though you might not reach the green with your 2nd.
The reen for this hole was dangerously close to the new 16th tee. The original hole was a good hole with well positioned bunkers protecting the green to the left and right. The present hole 11 is a recent change and although some would say that the green is different to those on the rest of the course, the hole is now bedded in and presents an interesting challenge to any golfer.
