1.    Vina Carrasco Sauvignon Blanc.           £2.55      £3.70     £4.90     £14.30

Thoroughly citrusy on the nose, with fresh lime and lemon forming the aromatic backdrop.  More citrus on the palate, accompanied by a riper hint of pineapple, and mouth-watering acidity.

2.    Pinot Grigio Malandrino, Italy              £2.55  £3.70  £4.90  £14.30

The pale hue of the wine gives way to hints of perfume, pears, stone fruit and lime, as well as occasional floral note.  Fresh and vibrant acidity results in a light, easy drinking wine.

3.    Picpoul De Pinet, L’abeille.                                              £17.50

Light lemon-green in colour, this is a crisp and youthful white wine full of fresh citrus fruit flavours, accented with subtle hints of fennel, green pepper and lime zest.

4.    Fernlands NZ Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough                      £17.50

Very zesty on the palate with lots of lime and a nettly herbaceousness, this is an aromatic and classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with a refreshingly dry finish.

5.    Albarino El Cante, Rias Baixas                                          £17.50

A light, fresh and youthful wine, with a zesty and well defined citrus backbone, overlayed with subtle hints of stone fruits and nectar.  Crisp and refreshing, yet rounded and enduring to the finish.

6.    Mâcon-Lugny, Louis Latour.                                             £19.50

Pale gold in colour, with a beguiling aroma of fresh apples, lemon curd and toasted citrus fruits atop a palate of fresh and crisp green apple acidity, buttery and peachy fruit and a long, warming finish.

7.    Sancerre Blanc, Berthier                                                 £21.90

Aromas of grapefruit and gooseberry leap from the pale lemon coloured glass, along with hints of lime, chalk and flint.  Mineral texture, high acidity, vibrant green fruits and a long finish.

Rosé Wine

8.    Torre Alta Pinot Grigio Rosé. Italy        £2.55  £3.70  £4.90  £14.30

This wine shows why Rosé is so popular.  Beautiful soft strawberry flavours with floral notes with a refreshing zing on the palate.

9.    Bois Des Violettes Rosé. South of France £2.55 £3.70  £4.90  £14.30

Bright and crisp, with very subtle strawberry fruit and a refreshing dryness.  The small proportion of Muscat adds a dash of juicy grapeyness.

Red Wine                                   125ml   175ml   250ml   Bottle

10.  Vina Carrasco Merlot. Chile                £2.55  £3.70  £4.90  £14.30

Aromas of ripe plums and strawberries, with faint notes of tomato leaf and sage.  The palate has a thick and jammy feel, with soft, mature tannins and a rounded, easy style.

11.  El Coto Rioja, Spain                          £2.55  £3.70  £4.90  £14.30

A ruby-red colour and of medium density in appearance, the pleasantly fragrant nose exhibits fresh fruit aromas (strawberries) with touches of vanilla and oaky liquorice hints.  Showing great balance on the palate, the wine is silky-smooth on entry and continues velvety, with an agreeable finish.

12.  Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Poggio Civetta, Italy                    £16.00

A ripe and approachable, medium-bodied and distinctly Italian red.  Ripe blackcurrant and cherry flavours are infused with subtle hints of clove and forest earth, framed by fine tannins.

13.  Baron De Baussac Carignan. South of France                       £16.50

Deep and inky red in colour, the wine is crammed with black cherry fruit, lifted by subtle vanilla aromas from a touch of oak ageing.  Bold, meaty tannins provide satisfying texture and length

14.  Beauté du Sud Malbec, France                                         £16.50

This modern Malbec echoes both the Old-World rusticity of Southern France, and the inky fruitiness found in the Malbecs of Argentina and the rest of the New World.

15.  Chateau Caronne Ste-Gemme, Haut- Médoc                        £21.90

A bright nose of red fruit with a perfumed edge follows onto the palate with added nuances of smoke, black pepper and subtle oak.  A well-rounded finish craves to be drunk now as an excellent accompaniment to roasts.
